Jose Pineiro of Miami joined The Apollo Group as a Software Developer in 1988. He started serving the company as a Software Developer with the responsibility of a new order system for cruise ships. He has extensive knowledge of designing, testing, documentation and more. He has the ability to learn quickly, form strategies and execute them, and work with technical as well as non-technical staff. In addition, he is an organized professional who can work alone or even with a team.
On completion of the project and Y2K conversion, he was promoted to IT Manager and was charged with different responsibilities. By using a new technology, he developed and implemented a new HR system. The role was quite challenging for him as he had to use the new software technologies. Besides this, he was also responsible for leading a team of developers. Through his dedication and hard work, he implemented onboard the ships and shore side. As a result, it improved productivity and saved a good amount for the company to be spent in labor, travel arrangements for the crew and freight charges.
In 2005, Jose Pineiro from Miami was promoted to Director of Information & Technology for all Apollo related companies. Owing to his role, his duties were revised to develop and maintain the different applications, including Order Processing and the HR system. With years of experience, he has improved corporate efficiencies and has contributed to the growth and success of the organization.
Jose Pineiro from Miami has a great interest in different outdoor activities that gives fun. When he is free from his work, he goes out for jogging, fishing and scuba diving. For him, scuba diving is a recreational activity that provides him a chance to explore the beauty of the underwater world. While going for scuba diving, he marvels at the creation of God. With this experience, he has become more aware of the environment.
